The 164th birth anniversary of world poet Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated with due dignity in Hossainpur, Kishoreganj.
On this occasion, a discussion meeting was organized in the meeting room of the Upazila Parishad on Thursday (May 8) morning.
The meeting, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Kazi Nahid Eva, was attended by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Farid Al Sohan, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Ujjal Hossain, Youth Development Officer Mofazzal Haque, Hossainpur Police Station OC (Investigation) Limon Bose, Araibaria Union Parishad Chairman Khurshid Uddin, among others.
At the discussion, the speakers highlighted the importance of the literary works and humanist thoughts of world poet Rabindranath Tagore and urged the new generation to be inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s thoughts.
