The Gobindapur Union BNP and its affiliated organizations of Hossainpur Upazila of Kishoreganj organized an Iftar Mahfil and a Doa Mahfil for the health of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.
On this occasion, the Iftar and Doa Mahfil held at the playground of Gobindapur School in the upazila on Thursday (March 20) afternoon was presided over by Upazila BNP Convener, District BNP Joint General Secretary and former Upazila Chairman Industrialist Md. Zahirul Islam Mobin. District BNP General Secretary Md. Mazharul Islam, District Volunteer Party Member Secretary Md. Shahidullah Kaiser, Upazila BNP Joint Convener and former Special PP Advocate Munjurul Islam Jewel, Upazila BNP Joint Convener AI Khan Shiblu, Municipal BNP President AKM Shafiqul Haque Shafiq, former successful Gobinda Pur Union Chairman Shafiqul Islam Himel, Selim Mahbub Sabuj, Rafiqul Islam, Selim Mia, Shahedal Union BNP President Abu Bakar Siddique, Organizing Secretary Khalequzzaman Jewel, Sidla Union BNP President Shafiqul Islam, Gobindapu Union BNP President Mahbubur Rahman Khokon, General Secretary Zia Uddin, Organizing Secretary Aminul Islam, along with various union BNP leaders and a large number of leaders and workers from the district, upazila, union and ward levels of the organization were present. Then, before Iftar, a prayer meeting was held to pray for the recovery and recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman. Upazila BNP convener Zahirul Islam Mobin said that as part of the central program, Iftar and prayer meeting are being held in every union in such a grand manner.
